Counselor-in-Training Program

This is an opportunity for teens (14-17) interested in volunteering their time  at Camp Uskichitto this summer.  CITs, while volunteering, are still  considered campers.  CITs are NOT responsible for other campers.   Instead, they help out around the camp with daily tasks that help keep  our program running as smoothly as possible.  In a sense, they BRIDGE some of the gaps.

So....how does this work?

Prospective CITs should register for "CIT Training Weekend," (see below) which is a crash course weekend in the basics of our policies, values, etc.  Of course this weekend is meant to be informative and "training," but it's also meant to be a fun, bonding experience.  

Also, there are 7 weeks in which a CIT can sign up to volunteer (see below).  Each of those weeks corresponds to a literal week of camp.  Example: Older Elementary #1 is May 30-June 3, which is also CIT Week #1.

Don't forget about "3 & Free!"

Any CIT that volunteers for 3 weeks or more during summer '23 at Camp Uskichitto will be able to attend our Senior High Session, as a camper,  for FREE!  That's a $325 value!
