Everywhere we look these days, it seems the world is divisive. We are asked to choose sides in our schools, churches, and circles of friends. Social media is killing us with a barrage of combative discourse and every side of every argument wants our attention.
All of this chaos and pressure is having adverse effects on us and our kids aren’t immune from it. From school to church, kids are being forced to pick teams and it’s not right. The aftermath of this is showing up in increasing mental health issues, less young people in churches, and less willing leaders in youth and young adults overall.
They need a place that is made for them — made for play, exploration, and sharing their authentic selves. Camp Uskichitto is uniquely positioned to serve these interesting, fun, and inspiring young people.
We don’t shy away from the messy business of personal connection. We are small enough to respond to the needs of individuals, and intentional about celebrating each young person and the unique value they bring. We want for kids to let their guard down, have some fun, and most importantly, hear about Jesus.
Your giving makes a difference! Every gift matters and we are so very grateful for you!

One summer, while Paul was helping with camper check-in, our projector stopped working. Without a word, Paul purchased and delivered a new projector to Camp Uskichitto, allowing us to continue our program without interruption. He's also a staunch supporter of the camp financially, participating in fundraisers whenever he can.

Tara is among the rare souls that will not only notice a need, but will meet that need, either by giving of her time or resources. Tara has volunteered as Camp Nurse/Cabin Mom during summer camp. While at camp, Tara noticed two things; the camp needed outdoor fans and we desperately needed to add gravel to the roads. After camp was over, Tara paid for our camp to have those outdoor fans and for our roads to get the much needed gravel.

From plumbing to electrical, Josh has not only taken the time to fix these issues, but has often paid for the supplies himself. During one of our Winter Camps, a cabin developed a major leak. Josh immediately jumped in, crawled through the mud to get under that cabin and fixed it.
